This is a quaint little cafe just outside of downtown. They have a weird 30 minute gap in their hours, but that didn't stop me. The server was very gracious and attentive. Easily a 30 percenter. A peek through the kitchen door revealed an opportunity in that the kitchen could use a deep clean, but at the time of this review, my stomach has not mentioned anything to me about the cleanliness of the cooking surfaces. The whole cafe could use a makeover, but keep the servers. You don't easily find that quality at greasy spoons. I'll be back!

A friend and I came here for breakfast this morning. I have driven by this place for years and always assumed it was just a catering company without knowing there was also a restaurant attached. Interior-wise, the place is very dated. I, however, was more interested in the food as usual. I ordered the egg and cheese sandwich on a croissant with a side of grits. The grits were very good and cooked well. Some of the best grits I've had because they weren't runny or too buttery. Delish. The sandwich was good, however, it seemed like they forgot about the cheese and kind of plopped it down at the last minute. The croissant was very flaky and made well, so I liked it overall. My friend tried several items including the pancakes and hash browns. I tried the pancakes and found them to be fluffy cooked just right. The hash browns were pretty good, too. Food-wise, I liked the items I tried, but wasn't blown away. The service was confusing at the end because our waitress didn't come back after she picked up my plates. Another waitress dropped off our check and forgot to mention that you have to pay at the counter. I feel the service could be improved. All in all, a decent breakfast spot and I'd be willing to try it again for breakfast or lunch.

Why 5 stars? Forget why, how does this place has no reviews?! --- --- --- In my 27 months of writing reviews, I have come across the occasional business the surprises me by the fact that it has not been reviews. It doesn't happen often, and it's usually a newer biz, or one that's in a weird location. Cafe Ten-O-One has been around forever and is right in the heart of Downtown St. Pete. How is it possible that they've never been reviewed?? And my God... this place is not only apparently a secret, but it's also AMAZING! The burgers the size of an adult cow, and they are bursting with incredible flavor. Oh... and they are like 8 bucks. Again, how are there no reviews?!?!! I have eaten here twice in the last week or so. I had the Royal Burger and the BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger. Both are unreal. The BBQ sauce here is amazing, and the BBQ burger comes is smothered in it. Also, you can order breakfast for lunch, if that's your bag. Normally, I'm not a huge fan of the old school diner setup, but this place does it insanely well. One of my new favorites in all of St. Pete.

I visited this joint recently. It has your typical neighborhood diner feel. The staff was friendly and attentive. They refilled my coffee without being asked. I also liked the wide assortment of hot sauces. The pancakes were yummy but my omelette was kind of bland and greasy. My potatoes would've been better if they werent burned.The portion sizes were generous and my bill was reasonable. Personally I would prefer to pay a little bit more for a little higher quality.Id go back for the pancakes. The interior needs a facelift.

Delicious! Cuban breakfast sandwich was delicious and the kids were very happy with their French toast. Great little local breakfast place with easy in and out, no wait. We will be back for sure

Minus the fact I don't eat meat, I try to frequent here once a week for the vegetarian wrap. It's always good, always fresh, and always delicious. I have eaten here with other coworkers who have said the burgers are great as well. I recommend the place to everyone.
